Faye Anna Vollmuth, 90, of Lancaster, formerly of Pataskala, died peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2014, following an extended illness. She was born December 3, 1923 in Licking County, the daughter of the late Walter and Lillian (Myers) Davis. Faye was a lifelong homemaker who loved to mow grass. She also enjoyed wintering in Florida: first in Sanford for 9 years and then at Lake Helen for 17 years. She was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A Vollmuth in 1996, her daughter Sharon in 2006, along with her sister Mary Denton and Brother Earl Davis. She is survived by her loving family: grandson Matthew A. (Corey) Ross and their children Kieran and Raya; her sister Shirley (Bob) Miller, brother Robert (Shirley) Davis , along with several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2014, from Noon until 1:00 p.m., prior to funeral services, celebrating her life at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor Greg Voight as celebrant.
