Floyd Sam Samson

Floyd Sam Samson, age 88, of Heath, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Laurels of Heath. He was born June 16, 1936 in Madison Township, Perry County, Ohio to the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Kay) Samson.

Floyd was retired from Universal Veneer and did odd jobs for several area farmers. He was a member of the Jacksontown United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Floyd S. and Jessica Samson, Jr. of Mount Perry; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Kevin Madinger of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Matthew (Crystal) Wilson, Jody Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Dakota Samson, Elizabeth Samson and Teaira Judd; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Adeline Pearl (Snoor) Samson on March 24, 2020; and by two brothers and four sisters.

At his request, no service will be observed.
