A graveside service, celebrating the life of Floyd Allen Williams, 80, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Freda.Floyd died Sunday, September 14, 2014 following a brief illness. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of the late Allen Richard and June Nellie (Pollock) Williams. He was a graduate of Mansifeld Madison H.S., served honorably in the US Marine Corps, and retired after many years as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways. Floyd enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed gathering with his friends. He is a member of the Thornville Amvets and Moose Lodge.He is survived by his loving family: son Richard A.
