Forrest Jeanne Lieber, age 93, of Newark, was born in New Lexington, Ohio on October 10, 1922 to the late Florin and Jenelle (Freeman) Gibbony. She passed away at her residence, while surrounded by her loving family on December 29, 2015.Jeanne was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a volunteer with TWIG 8 for over 25 years and also volunteered at the Webb House Museum. She enjoyed traveling, boating, loved dogs and horses and was an avid bridge player. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and eating at the Natoma Restaurant every Friday. She lived for her children and grandchildren, whom she was affectionately known as Mimi, and will be remembered for her infectious laugh and master story telling.She is survived by her three daughters, Lynne (Dr. Robert) Amicon, Susan (Charles Cave) Lieber and Nancy Lieber; grandchildren, Jennifer (Carl), Brian (Michelle), Kimberly (Aaron), Vince (Angela), Elyn and Jessica; and great grandchildren, Holly, Luke and Frankie.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lieber in 2001; and one son, Scott Lieber.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jeanne to Foundation For Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.A memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to4:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room at Spring Hills Baptist Church, 1820 Newark Granville Rd, Granville, OH 43023Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Jeanne and her family.
