Frances "Ann" Hoffer

Frances “Ann” Hoffer, age 77, of Newark, passed away at the Selma Markowitz Care Center on July 29, 2021. She was born in Akron, Ohio on August 20, 1943 to the late Geraldine Thomas. Ann was a dedicated homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Newark Eagles Lodge, where she belonged to the Indian Mound Pool League. Survivors include her loving husband, Ron Hoffer; children, Roger “Butch” (Peggy) Everett, Jr., Virgil (Debra) Everett, Barbara Everett, Emma “Tina” Shaver and Carrie Hoffer-Bates; grandchildren, Jessica MacDonald, Kevin Hoffer, Colin Bates, Dawn (Jim) Everett, Jennifer (Earl) Rodriguez, Roger Everett III, Anthony (Laina) Everett, Angelisa Everett, Tori Everett and Jennifer Reid; close friends, Katie and Bob McCall; 18 great grandchildren; and many friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Betty and Robert Hoffer; and son-in-law, Thomas Bates Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or the Newark Eagles Pool League.
