Frances Louise Kennison-Mirto

A funeral service for Frances Louise Kennison Mirto will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Ivon L. Roberson officiating at the Hoskinson Funeral Home in Kirkersville. Burial will follow in Obetz Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street. Frances, 73, of Buckeye Lake, passed away unexpectedly, October 13, 2021, at her home. She was born July 29, 1948, in Columbus, a daughter of the late Russell and Josephine (Carrell) Courts. Always devoted to her family, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had cared for mother who passed in March of this year. Many knew her as a wonderful cook in Buckeye Lake area, where she had worked at various restaurants over the years. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Rowley (Stephen), her beloved granddaughter, Stephanie Rowley; step sons Mark Kennison and Paul Kennison; brothers and sister, Donna Dennison, Karen (Robert) Cullen, William (Kay) Courts, Jack Courts and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Pearl Kennison and Joseph Mirto; brothers and sister, Patricia Courts, Russell Courts, Joseph Courts, Gerald Courts, Larry Courts and James “Butch” Courts. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
