A funeral service celebrating the life of Frances Clemmie Wykle, 78, will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Jeff Pennington, as celebrant. Burial will follow at Fairmount cemetery near Jacksontown.Frances died on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Matoaka, WV in 1937, to the late Benton and Eula (Tate) Cecil. A loving mother, she loved to read, cook and take care of her family. She also enjoyed spending time at casinos. She was a member of the VFW #1388, Eagles #387 and the AMVets #51 in Thornville, Ohio.She is survived by her loving family: her son, Danny (Conni) Farmer; daughters: Sandra Farmer Taylor, Carol Farmer, Joann Farmer; sisters: Sylvia Newsome and Bonnie Cecil, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and her special companion Rick Edmonds along with many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Junior Cecil, Willard Cecil, Bernard Cecil and RD Cecil; her sisters: Dolly Paul, Dorothy Knight and Nannie Lowe.Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Farmer, Jesse Taylor, Blake Hale, Dan and DylinKlobis and Jake Clark.Her family will receive friends on Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, where an online guestbook and video tribute to Frances are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.comThe Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for Frances and her family.
