Franziska Meisenhelder

  A funeral service celebrating the life of Franziska Meisenhelder, 86, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, November, 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Matt VanWinkle officiating.  Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Franziska was born in Viereth, Germany on March 10, 1932 to the late George and Margareta (Bengel) Wohlleber.  She passed away at the Maria Joseph Nursing and Rehab Center in Dayton, on November 8, 2018. Franziska was a devoted homemaker to her family.  She enjoyed listening to music, cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Matthew) Tracey and Sylvia Meisenhelder; grandchildren, Ashley Meisenhelder, Zachariah Tracey, Morgen Tracey and Philip Tracey; brother, Erwin Wohlleber; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Meisenhelder; and brother, Wilhelm Wohlleber.
