Frederick Thomas Small

Visitation for Frederick Thomas Small Sr., 85, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Hebron home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Private Family Burial will follow in the Newark Memorial Gardens, where Frederick will be laid to rest with his first wife Fannie Jean.

Frederick was born April 6, 1936 in West Virginia, the son of the late James Russell and Myrtle Regina (Byers) Small. He was a hard worker, and retired after 12 years with the Buckeye Lake Street Department. He was a member of the Buckeye Lake Eagles and loved to mow grass and watch westerns on TV. His favorite was John Wayne.

He is survived by his family: wife Cathy, children Tammy (Bryan) Wolverton , Melinda Small, Frederick Thomas (Lisa) Small III and Harry W Small; his grandchildren Kelly (William) Gates, Jason (Desiree) Wolverton, Felicia (David) Shriner, Stefan Small, Kristina Boggs, Renee (Luke) Simpson; 4 great grandchildren Aundrea, Benjamin, Vincent and Owen;  Many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Mildred, Stella, Lena, Nina and Genevieve; brothers Edward, Robert and Roscoe; along with his infant son Frederick T. Small Jr.
