Garnett Bailey

Garnet M. Bailey, 82 of Millersport, passed into the hand of the Lord, following a lengthy illness, shortly after noon on Monday, January 9, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Millersport.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd Bailey, son, Hank Bailey and grandson, Captain Ryan M. Anderson.Garnet was a member of Millersport Rebekah Lodge #885.She is survived by her children: Michael R Anderson (Donna) of Zanesville, Donald Anderson of Fort Worth, TX., Anita (Dan) Bailey of Millersport, and Patricia Sue A. (Billy) McComas, of LeSage WV.; grandchildren: Brian Anderson (Jessica), Michael Anderson, Robbie (Fred) Miller, Kimberly Anderson-Stull (Thomas), Jeremy Anderson (Regina) and great-grandchildren: Samantha, Logan, Tatum, Brady, Colton and Aryanna.The family will receive friends for viewing on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Kirkersville Home of The Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main St (US RT 40) in Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and video tribute is available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.Graveside Services and burial will be conducted at Greenbottom Memorial Park in LeSage WV, on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058.They are a wonderful organization and took excellent care of Garnet during her illness.Garnets family is appreciative of all the visits made over the years by the many friends, neighbors and acquaintances, during her debilitation.Garnet endured her condition with a quiet acceptance, without complaint, and always had a ready smile for visitors.She will remain an inspiration to our family.
