A memorial gathering celebrating the life of Garry Lee Poncho Noble, age 60, of Hebron, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, at the VFW Post 1388, 3430 North Bank Road in Buckeye Lake. Garry was born September 25, 1957 in Lancaster, Ohio. He passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Garry was a 1977 graduate of Lakewood High School and served in the United States Air Force. He had been an electrician for XF Electrical in Columbus for ten years and prior to that had been employed with Butler Electric in Painesville for many years. Garry was a member of Amvets Post #51, Buckeye Lake Eagles #2801 and was a life member of VFW Post #1388 in Buckeye Lake. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Sherry A. (Browning) Noble; mother, Diane (Herd) Noble of Newark; daughters, Vanessa Noble and Jayme Noble, both of Newark; step-children, Rachel Burnette of Hebron and Johnny Burnette (fianc, Jamie Fetch) of Grand River; eight grandchildren, Chase and Tyler Upchurch, Bladen Giles, Krislyn Giles, Cohen Dodd, Landon Dodd, Aydin Randall and Jaece Reece; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerry and Judith Browning of Madison; many nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Noble; and by two brothers, Hank and Roger Noble; and a sister, Vicky Rey.
