Gary Karnes

Gary B. Karnes, 65, of Heath, died suddenly on July 23, 2012 at his home. He was born January 16, 1947 in Sayre, Pa., the son of the late Lionel and Lena (Murphy) Karnes.A skilled sheet metal worker, Gary was a member of union local #24 and retired from Columbus Heating and Ventilation. Gary loved traveling, and was a member of the Foretravel RV group, American Motorcycle Association, and raced for the Kawasaki Racing team.In his younger years, he loved to go fishing in Canada. He was widely known as everyones go-to guy.He is survived by his loving family: wife Sharon, daughter Alyssa (Jamie) Kimble, adopted daughter Susan Little, sister Judith Karnes, granddaughter Josephine and many, many friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Patrick.Friends may call Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main St (US Rt 40) in Kirkersville.
