Gary Lynn Lisk

A funeral service celebrating the life of Gary Lynn Lisk, age 59, of Lancaster, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Daniel Fullen officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 9, at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville. Burial will take place in Olivet Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, masks must be worn inside the funeral home. For your protection, a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing.

Gary was born August 20, 1961 in Kennesaw, Georgia. He passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation in Lancaster.

Gary was a 1979 graduate of Lancaster High School. He had been employed in auto sales at Bob McDorman Chevrolet for many years. Gary enjoyed classic cars, especially the Trans-Am, and enjoyed being a part of the Trans-Am Nationals group. He loved his cat, Corvette.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Patricia Ann (Good) Lisk of Lancaster; sister, Diana (Duane) Lacy of Cibolo, Texas; nephew, Jason (Stephanie)Haugen; great-nephew and great-nieces, Trent, Kiernen and Karys Haugen; uncles, David Good and John Good; several cousins; and special friends, Sharon Amos and Brent Amos of Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gene Lisk, who passed away on May 10, 2019.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.
