It is with deep sorrow that the family of Gary Lee Smoke announces his passing on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 66, in his home in Baltimore, Ohio. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Chester and Betty (Aspaugh) Smoke.
Gary had an unwavering passion for machinery, leading to a career as a Tractor Technician with Ag-Pro, where he dedicated his skills and expertise to John Deere tractors for many years. His love for John Deere tractors was well-known, showcasing his dedication to his craft.
He is survived by his longtime partner, LouElla Bevins; his son, Matthew Smoke; his brother, Dennis (Tracy) Smoke; his sister, Jackie (Ernest) Bowles; along with five step-children, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Smoke.
Honoring Gary's wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time.
The family will be having a celebration of life day time and place to be decided at a later day.
