Gayle Yvonne Naessig

Gayle Yvonne Naessig, age 76, of Newark, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital. Gayle was born April 7, 1944 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to the late Lloyd Rowland and the late Esther (Ludtke) Naessig.

Gayle retired from the Boeing Corporation where she had been a computer analyst. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors in nature.

She is survived by a son, Brian Naessig of Newark; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and John Fohl of Newark; grandchildren, Joshua Naessig, Sarah-Elise Naessig, Callie Fohl, Carter Fohl and Chelsea Fohl; three brothers, Philip Ludtke of Corona, California, Alvin (Martie) Ludtke of Downey, California and Lester (Loxie) Rowland of Wentworth, South Dakota; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Rowland and Bernard Rowland; and a sister, Marlene Vandenberg.

A memorial service for Gayle will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6004 Linnville Road SE, Newark, OH 43056.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Gayle’s name.
