Gearold "Jerry" Lee Mickling

Gearold Lee “Jerry” Meckling, 62, of Newark, passed away on May 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Newark, Ohio on June 18, 1958 to the late Thomas and Norma (Fadley) Meckling. Jerry enjoyed swimming, fishing, riding his bicycle and spending time with his loving family and friends. Survivors include his sister, Deana (Todd) Kerran; brothers, Nornie Meckling and Russell Jewell; aunt, Donna Arnott; niece, Norma Berhow; nephew, George Clark; and a host of friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Ann Bonner; and brother, Thomas Meckling, Jr. No services will be held.
