Gene M. Frazee

Gene M. Frazee, age 71, of Newark, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab-Newark. Gene was born January 3, 1943 in Elgin, Illinois to the late Mervin and Genelle Frazee.Gene was a truck driver and was a very hard worker and always active. At one time, he had taught welding, had been a roofer and had also been a machinist. He enjoyed working on cars and small engines. Gene was a gun enthusiast and collector and was quite a pyrotechnician as he loved fireworks.He is survived by two sons, Austin Edward (Rachel) Frazee of Utica and Peter Zale Frazee of Newark; a daughter, Nobli Janessa Frazee of Columbus; step-son, Toby (Chris) Hageman of Newark; grandchildren, Thomas Hagemen, Jr., James Hageman and Robbie Hageman, all of Newark; and five grandchildren.At his request, there will be no calling hours or service observed.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Frazee family.
