Georgann Reiser

A funeral service celebrating the life of Georgann Reiser, age 88, of Millersport, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Father G. Michael Gribble officiating. Burial will take place in Millersport Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.

Georgann was born January 1, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Isaac P. and Mabel I. (Abram) Evans. She passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at her home.

Georgann retired from the Chesapeake Ohio Railroad. She had also been employed with Hulls Realty and the Beachcomber Restaurant. Georgann was a life member and past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1388 and was a member of the American Legion Post #532, Moose Lodge #206 and the Am Vets #51 in Thornport. Her family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them.

She is survived by her children, Eddie (Beverly) Hulls, Melanie (John) Tichenor and Becky Bird, all of Millersport, Jack (Diane) Hulls of Louisville, KY and Debbie Browning of Somerset; step-children, Tom (Mikey) Reiser of Millersport, Jacque Reiser of Somerset, Nony (Peggy) Reiser of Logan and Michael Reiser of Zanesville; step-daughter-in-law, Jan Reiser of Millersport; many grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Reiser; a step-son, John Reiser; and a brother, Edward J. Evans.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice and FairHoPe Hospice. The family wishes to extend their thanks to these hospices for their excellent care of Georgann.
