Georganne F. Price

Georganne Fisher Price, passed away on December 10, 2022 at the Laurels of Gahanna. She was born December 10, 1926 in Monroe Township, Perry County, Ohio, to the late Fred and Hazel Post Fisher. Georganne graduated from Corning Public School, Corning, Ohio in 1944 and from The Ohio State University in 1947. She did post-graduate studies at the University of Dayton, Wright State, Ohio State and Ohio University, holding several positions as a home economist and teacher, retiring from Southern Local Schools, Perry County in 1986. She was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers and the Perry County Retired Teachers Association. She leaves behind her son, John Price; grandson, John Price, Jr.; sisters, Martha (Roger) Briggs, Patricia Bowers, and Mildred (George) Palmer; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Martha Ouellette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Robert L. Price; son, Dennis Price; brothers, Fred Price, Jr. and Vernon Price; sisters, Jean Boring, Lilian Winnenberg and Roberta Jo Sawyer. Private graveside services will be held for the family. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Georganne to The Ohio State University, Division of Anatomy, Body Donor Program, 279 Hamilton Hall, 1645 Neil Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43210.
