George "Glenn" Kay

G. Glenn Kay, 78, of Columbus, formerly of Kirkersville, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. He was born on August 18, 1933 in Roseville, Ohio, son of the late William and Goldia (McClellan) Kay. Glenn was a very skilled concrete mason, having retired from Local #1 Cement Masons after 35+ years of employment. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Community Church.Glenn is survived by his wife of 45 years, Phyllis (Burns) Kay; children, Pamela (Thomas) Bartolomucci of Thornville, Ohio, George Kay of Homosassa, Florida, David (Traci) Kay of Hebron, Ohio, Daniel (Diane) Kay of Columbus, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Pauline (Jesse) Ours of Hebron, Ohio.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Kay.A funeral service, celebrating Glenns life, will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 11:00AM at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Dr. William L. Snider and Rev. Gary Kirk officiating.
