George Justice

Funeral services, celebrating the life of George Justice, 81, of Thornville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S Main Street in Thornville, with burial to follow in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery. Family will receive friends from Noon until time of the funeral service.

George passed away on Saturday evening, March 25, 2023 in Newark following an extended illness. He was born in Williamson W.V., on October 4, 1941, the son of the late John and Lizzie (Hensley) Justice. George was a carpenter employed by the Turner Construction company. He enjoyed Tinkering around and fixing things and also fishing. He kept and rode horses for many years.

George is survived by his family: his sons George M. Justice, David Justice and George Justice III; his granddaughter Kristy (James) Voelker; his great granddaughter Madyson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son Jeff and was the last of his family of twelve brothers and sisters.
