Gerald Richard "Jerry" Arnold

Gerald Richard “Jerry” Arnold, age 80, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jerry was born February 22, 1941 in Newark, Ohio to the late Richard Andrew Arnold and the late Thelma Elizabeth (Godshall) Arnold Green.

Jerry was a man who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, painting and drawing.

He is survived by his daughters, Tina Sickles (Ketm “Curt” Thompson) of Newark and Theresa Edwards of Mansfield; son, Robert (Angel) Arnold of Frazeysburg; grandchildren, Alexis Hupp, Kianna Hupp, Doug Hupp (Cassidi Jacks), Jerry Edwards, Jonathan Edwards, Andrew Edwards, Logan Edwards, Jerry Edwards, Alissa, Aisli, Avril, Robbie, Ariane, Alexandra, Eric and Addisyn; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Arnold of Newark and David Arnold of Massachusetts; sisters, Phyllis Arnold of Mount Vernon, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Charleston, West Virginia and Linda Arnold of Dayton; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends left to honor his memory.

The family will observe a private service.
