Geraldine W. Martin

A funeral service, for Geraldine Wells Martin, 92, of Hebron, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the Hoskinson Funeral Home in Kirkersville, Ohio with the Reverend Steve Merold officiating. Burial will follow at the Kirkersville Cemetery. Gerry passed away on Monday, October 8, at the Sharon Brooke Senior Living Center. She was born on January 21, 1920, in Outville, Ohio, to the late Joseph H. and Helen (Scott) Wells. After graduating from Kirkersville School in 1937, Gerry worked at the Ohio Power Company. Later she was office manager for Flo-lizer, Inc. in Hebron, Ohio. She and her beloved husband Marion of 54 years, traveled to all 50 states and many foreign countries. Most recently, Gerry especially enjoyed the beautiful birds and flowers around her home. She was a life-long member of the Outville Presbyterian Church. Gerry is survived by nephews, Jim (Kathy) Rostorfer and Tim Rostorfer of Kirkersville; nieces Mary Jo (Randy) Moxley and Beth (John) Martin of Newark; and sister Lorraine (Wayne) Pollard of Hebron. In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Rostorfer, and her brother, Joseph C. Wells. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to her neighbors, the Home Instead caregivers, and the staff at Sharon Brooke for the loving concern shown to Aunt Gerry. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of The Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E.
