Gerrianna Marie "Gerri" Loughman

A funeral service celebrating the life of Gerrianna Marie “Gerri” Loughman, age 56, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, January 24, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Newark.

Gerri was born August 4, 1966 in Glasgow, Montana to the late Harold Bradley and Nancy Oleta (Marks) Richeson. She passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Gerri was a 1984 graduate of Newark High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from COTC in Business and Accounting. She was employed by the Newark Advocate for 13 years where she was the Circulation Manager. Gerri’s family meant everything to her and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Eric (Jessy) Richeson, Cody (Kasandra) Loughman, and Chelsea (Brandon) Hunter; step-daughter, Cheryl Loughman; step-son, Jerry E. Loughman, Jr.; grandchildren, Jack Richeson, Adalynn Hunter, Delainy Hunter, and P.J. Negele; sister, Lillian Cruse; niece, Danielle Copeland; and nephews, Bradley (Jessie) Schneider and Jacob (Kathryn) Cruse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Loughman, Sr., on July 26, 2021.
