Ginger Lee Tate

Ginger Lee Tate, 76, of Thornville, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Lancaster. She was born in Coldwater, Michigan, on October 31, 1945, the daughter of the late Gordon R. and Chloe (Boatwright) AcMoody. She was a graduate of River View High School, Sarasota, Florida in 1963. She became one of the first female over the road Truck Drivers in 1976. she enjoyed animals (especially her cats), and a good conversation. She loved talking about her trucking trips.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Joe) Strayer; her granddaughter Chanei (Dale) Whitesel and her great grandchildren Haliey Whitesel and Timothy Collins; along with other relatives out of state.

Private family services and burial will be held in the Zion Ridge Cemetery, Thornville.
