Gladys Della Keller

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Gladys D. Snider Keller, of Baltimore, will be held at 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville; with her Pastor, the Rev. Rick Marshall as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Gladys passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, November 10, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Columbus, on December 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Vernon and Emma (Finley) Snider. She worked at Curtis Wright Aviation and White Haines Optical in addition to her duties as a loving wife and mother. She was a long time member of Fletcher Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, going shopping and eating out. She also enjoyed traveling including their many trips to Rice Lake in Canada. She is survived by her loving family: son Jeff of Baltimore, daughter Linda Runyon (Jim Watkins); granddaughters Tami (Joe) Colopy, Cindi (Chris) Strawser; great grandchildren Chase, Cody, Hayden, Celeste, Cierra, Madison and Olivia; her siblings Virginia Banton; Garland and William (Marilee) Snider; brother-in-law William Merchant, and her many nieces and nephews, cousins and church family from Fletcher Chapel U.M. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; her brothers Gale, Donald and Gerald Snider; her sister Miriam Merchant, sister-in-law Phyllis Snider, brother-in-law Jack Banton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Kirkersville, where floral tributes will be received in her honor.
