Glenn P. Cartwright

A funeral service celebrating the life of Glenn P. Cartwright, 87, of Hebron, Ohio, will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Glenn will be buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Tuesday, prior to the funeral service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Glenn was born in Fayette County, PA on August 28, 1936 to the late John H. and Lyda (Cox) Cartwright. He passed away on June 16, 2024 at Altercare Newark South. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Prior to retirement, he worked as a financial manager at Newark Air Force Base for over 25 years. Survivors include his children, Glenn Cartwright, Jr., Catherine Cartwright and Dan (Jessica) Cartwright; grandchildren, Linda Cartwright, Jennifer Cartwright, Sarah Cartwright and Taylor Cartwright; great grandchildren, Konner, Kamryn, Keegan and Leonah; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Yorns, Dorothy Stanford and Arlene Berry; and brothers, John Cartwright, Paul Cartwright, William Cartwright and Kenneth Cartwright. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Glenn to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
