Glenn E. Robinson

Glenn E. Robinson, 76, passed away on August 20, 2015 at his residence in Newark. He was born in Newark on January 29, 1939 to the late Alfred and Lillian (Montgomery) Robinson.Glenn was an EPA Certified Water Class 1 Operator for the Licking Valley School District. He was a thirty-second degree Mason with the Blue Lodge in Heath and was a member of the Teheran Grotto in Newark. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, was an avid sports fan, especially following the Cleveland Cavaliers. Glenn had a big heart, was very compassionate, never met a stranger, had a great sense of humor and was known for always having a nickname for everyone. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him.Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Beverly L. (Kauffman) Robinson, whom he married June 29, 1970; daughters, Christine (Alan) Mills and Mary Clippinger; brother, Edgar Robinson; brother-in-law, Timothy Peters and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, James Robinson; daughter, Tammy Spears; brother, Bill Robinson and sisters, Marianne and Evelyn.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Glenn to the Licking Valley School Scholarship Fund, c/o Jo Lynn Torbert, 1379 Licking Valley Road, NE, Newark, Ohio 43055.At Glenns request, no services will be held.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Robinson family.
