A funeral service, celebrating the life of Glenn Edwin Watson, 76, of Hebron, will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hebron Church of the Nazarene, with Steve Dunn as celebrant. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery. Glenn died Monday, April 21, 2014 in Heath, following an extended illness. He was born in Branchland, W.V., the son of the late Rev Arthur and Blanche (Miller) Watson. He was employed for over 40 years in law enforcement, retiring as a lieutenant for the Village of Hebron. Glenn enjoyed riding Honda goldwings, coaching flag football for the Hebron Trailblazers, and spending time with family and friends at National Trails Raceway. He is survived by his loving family: his life partner Vanessa Sands, children Glenna (Michael) Pound of Hebron, Mark (Cheryl) Watson of Pataskala, Rick Watson of Buckeye Lake, Jeff (Jennifer) Watson of Newcomerstown, Kim (James) Kendall of Gahanna, Brian (Tina) Watson of London, Bryce (Courtney) Taylor of Newark and Ashley (Trevor) Cunningham of Newark; along with his brothers Don & Roy, sisters Faye, Wanda, Ann, Jane and Judy; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Eddie. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at the HOSKINSON Funeral Home, 285 E. Main St. in Kirkersville, and again on Friday from 11:30 until time of the services at 1:00 p.m. at the Hebron Nazarene Church.
