Glenna Jean Terry

A funeral service celebrating the life of Glenna Jean Terry, 90 of Thornville, will be held for the immediate family on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville, on Saturday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and for your protection, a maximum of 30 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing. Glenna was born in Waterloo, Ohio on January 1, 1931 to the late Clarence and Lillian (Strait) Evans. She passed away on January 25, 2021 at Thornville Altercare. Glenna was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed fishing, gambling, playing cards, mowing her grass and coon hunting. Glenna was also an excellent cook and was extremely talented at writing poems. Survivors include her children, Michael (Margaret) Terry, Daryl (Peggy) Terry, Cheryl (John) Farmer, Dixie (Charles) Glaize, Charles (Heather) Terry and David (Jackie) Terry; sisters, Donna Baisden and Carlene (Max) Stout; 32 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Terry; and son, Kim Terry. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Glenna to the Thornville Altercare. The Terry family would like to thank the staff at Thornville Altercare and Hospice of Central Ohio for all of the excellent care and love that was provided to Glenna.
