Gloria Joann Rutherford

A memorial service celebrating the life of Gloria Joann Rutherford, 86, of Pickerington, will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service Thursday, from 6:00 to 7:-00 p.m. Gloria was born in Delaware, Ohio on January 9, 1932 to the late Edward and Marge (Bill) Gansheimer. She passed away at her residence on April 28, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. Prior to retirement, she was a waitress at many restaurants around the area. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Granville. She enjoyed bowling and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her two children, Joyce Walke and James JR (Janet) Rutherford III; grandchildren, Robert (Sallie) Piotrowski, Michelle Piotrowski, Laurie (Tim) Duggan, Martha Piotrowski, Todd Piotrowski, Joseph (Amanda) Rutherford, Dallas Rutherford and Destiny Rutherford.; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Rutherford in 2011; four brothers and one sister.
