Gorgana Mae Huber

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Gorgana Mae Huber, 98, of Columbus, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation service, with her grandson Pastor Steven Krumm as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. Gorgana died peacefully, Tuesday morning, April 19, 2016 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Pataskala, on March 17, 1918, the daughter of the late Otto Raymond and Irene May (Crosby) Mills. She worked as a cook for many years at the Haft restaurant in Reynoldsburg, and was a member of the Reynoldsburg Eagles. She enjoyed fishing and camping, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Harry (Lorraine) Krumm of Groveport, David (Elaine) Krumm of California, Daniel (Paula) Krumm of Columbus, Michael Krumm of Columbus, Doris Frye of Columbus; along with many, many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands Harry E. Krumm who died in 1954, and Ralph Emerson Huber who died in 1984, she was preceded in death by her sons Jimmy and Bobby and an infant daughter Mary June, as well as her brother Paul Mills and sister Iva Miller. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville. Memorials should be directed to the American Diabetes Association, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
