Grace Irene Keller

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Grace Irene Heimberger Keller, 89, of Millersport, will be held on Saturday June 25, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Millersport United Methodist Church, with Pastors Jim Condrey and Clarence Hensel as officiants. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 5-8 pm at the Church, 2310 Refugee Rd in Millersport., and again on Saturday Morning, June 25 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m.

Grace was born in Etna, Ohio to the late Everett and Ruth (Nicodemus) Heimberger. She was a graduate of Etna H.S. class of 1950. As a young woman, she worked for Farm Bureau insurance. She was a hard-working farm wife, and helped Richard when he owned the Mill in Millersport. She was a talented seamstress, and a great cook and baker, renowned for her cinnamon rolls and angel food cakes. She cooked and delivered to the fields many meals during planting and harvests.

An active member of Millersport United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women’s society; she taught Sunday School and was Church Treasurer, along with being responsible for funeral meals. She was also active in the Alpha Mothers Club in Millersport; and had served as a 4-H advisor to cooking and sewing clubs throughout the area.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard L., son Larry (Deborah) Keller, daughters Joyce Quilliam and Nancy (Steve) Harlow; her grandchildren Stacey (Nate) Clements, Jenna (Travis) Gorham; Kalen (Kyle) Maite, Joshua (Maria) Quillam, Jeffrey (Kayla) Quillam; Brent (Mandy) Harlow, Brandon (Meghan) Harlow, Brian (Jessica) Harlow; along with 12 great grandchildren and her sister Doris Powell; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Glenn and Lee Heimberger.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Millersport United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at services. Special thanks to Wanda Wells for taking such great care of Grace. Her family is very grateful.
