Grace Marcum

A memorial visitation and service, celebrating the life of Grace L. Marcum, 72, of Thornville, will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Thornville, with her pastor, Rev. Orrey McFarland as celebrant.Grace died Friday Morning, September 8, 2017, in Columbus, following an extended illness. She was born March 13, 1945, in Aberdeen, Maryland, the daughter of the late Roy H. and Anna (Finkernagle) Dean. She was a graduate of Aberdeen H.S., and worked for many years as a librarian in the Westfall school district in Pickaway County.Grace adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed water aerobics and was an active member of the Heron Bay Homeowners Association, and Grace Lutheran Church, Thornville.She is survived by her loving family: husband Carl, son Garett (Lauren) of Columbus, along with their two daughters Ruby and Phoebe; a brother Roy (Jan) Dean and a step-brother Steve (Betty) Bilka, all of Aberdeen.
