A funeral service, celebrating the life of Lula Grace Sanders, 83, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, in the chapel of The Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Rev. Fr. Michael Gribble as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.Lula died Monday morning, November 13, 2017, at the home of her daughter. She was born April 2, 1934, in Kona, Kentucky; the daughter of the late Millard and Jane Adams.She worked in her familys appliance business, and also worked as the canteen manager at the Thornport AmVets.She is survived by her loving family: children Ron (Cathy) Hampton, Wayne (Liz) Hampton, Tammy (Fred Berry) Hampton; her 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters Sheila Trent and Debbie Barnes, her grandson Travis Trent, granddaughter Courtney Cox along with her husbands Chester Hampton and John Sanders.The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street in Thornville.
