Gracie Maye Clark

Graveside Funeral Services celebrating the life of Gracie Maye Clark, 93, of Hebron, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the Kirkersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Kirkersville Chapel of the Hoskinson Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning.  Gracie passed away on October 2, 2024, at her home in Hebron. She was born in Grayson, Kentucky, on February 11, 1931, the daughter of the late Dewey and Belva (Gallion) Johnson.

Gracie was a hard-working farm wife and homemaker for her family. She enjoyed baby sitting for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her final years she was legally blind but was determined to live alone with little assistance from others.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Linda (David) VanDyke, her sons Fred (Linnette) Clark and Tim (Suzie) Clark; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother Proctor Johnson and sister Cloetta (Ernest) Maggard also survive her along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, James Clark, and numerous siblings that totaled 13 in all.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Licking Co Aging Program, 1058 East Main St. in Newark, Ohio 43055.
