Gregory Allen Peterman

A memorial service celebrating the life of Gregory Allen Peterman, age 62, of Thornville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service.

Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, at Jilly's Saloon, 6842 East Main Street in Reynoldsburg.

Greg was born March 24, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William M. Peterman and the late Nancy Lee (Luzader) Peterman Fellows. He passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.

Greg was a bowling alley mechanic with Holiday Lanes in Whitehall prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and loved the Rolling Stones, having attended at least 10 concerts. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the OSU Buckeyes.

He is survived by his son, Dylan Peterman (fiancée Shannon Joseph) of Thornville; brothers, Jeff (Marylynn) Peterman of Louisville, Kentucky and Brad Peterman of Thornville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Peterman; and a brother, Mark Peterman.
