Gregory John Wylie

Graveside Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Gregory John Wylie, 57, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 29, 2021 in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus. The family will receive friends on Friday evening May 28, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main St in Kirkersville.

Greg passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in Columbus. He was born in Columbus on October 4, 1963 the son of Harry and Phyllis Kearney Voelker. A laborer by profession, he was employed by Groose Construction.

A hard working man, he loved helping other people. He could fix anything and would help anyone who asked. He kept his family safe.

He is survived by his loving family: his mother and step-father Phyllis and Harry Voelker; his sons Marc (Shannan) Wylie and their daughters Keegan and Kendyl; son Ryan (Jevonn) Wylie and their son Carter and daughter Parker; his significant other of 19 years Jennifer New and her children( whom he helped raise) Michael, McCala and Madison; his siblings Kim (Clay) Carroll, Lindy White, Sue Campbell, Todd  Wylie; step-sister Debbie Prendergast; along with his many nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his infant son Mason Wylie, his sister Gale Galloway, his brother Joe Wylie; and his step sister Vicki Stroud.
