Harold E. Brewer

A visitation for Harold E. Brewer, age 95 of Lima and formerly of Hebron, will be held from 12 – 1 PM Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Hoskinson Funeral Home 108 North Seventh Street, Hebron, Ohio 43025, where a funeral service will begin at 1 PM Thursday with Harold’s brother-in-law, Senior Elder Lee Gantt officiating. Burial immediately following at Newark Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Harold was born April 17, 1929, to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Tanner) Brewer in Marion County, Ohio. He served in the Navy from 1948-1950 as a Seamen First Class. Harold is a former member of the Linwood Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by wife, Marilyn (Schilling) Brewer in 2008; a daughter Cynthia Kaye “Cindy” Keplar in 2019; son, Robert Brewer in 2024; grandson, Brad Bonham; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. He is survived by his children, William Brewer of Columbus, Teresa (John) Hill of Lima and Sheryl (Terry) Scott of Mt. Vernon; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Brewer (Lee) Gantt; many nieces and nephews.
