Harold Freas

Harold C. Freas, 62, of Hebron, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1952 in Newark, Ohio, son of the late Harold A. and Helen (Hayes) Freas. Harold was a skilled carpenter who was employed with the Local 200 Carpenters Union. He was an honorary member of the SOAMC. He enjoyed playing guitar, riding his Harley, shopping, but most of all sharing meals and spending time with his family. Harold would like to be remembered as being a Simple Man.He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Bird Freas; his daughter, Catherine Turtle Freas; granddaughter, Hannah Frog Schafer; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Freas Litten and Karen Freas; lifelong firend, Jack Berletch of Yuma, AZ.; along with several nieces and nephews, and extended Hayes family members.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and David Freas.Friends may call at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St., on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 11 to 1 p.m., where a funeral service, celebrating Harolds life will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Charlie Lee officiating.
