"Tom" Harry Thomas Hartless

A funeral service celebrating the life of Harry Thomas “Tom” Hartless, age 80, of Utica, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with LaVerne Eash officiating.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Tom was born August 22, 1942 in Allegheny County, Virginia to the late James Thomas  Hartless and Edna Clark (Nicely) Hartless. He was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Tom retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. He attended the Mount Zion House of Prayer.

He is survived by a daughter, Beth (Nate) Norris and family; grandson, Timothy Perry; sisters, Jean Ruton, Dot Dawson, Nancy Carr, Delorse Nethers, and Patty Brunner; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Sharon Kay (Jones) Hartless, whom he married December 5, 1965 and who passed away on February 10, 2022; sons, Thomas Harry “Tommy” Hartless and an infant son, Harry Thomas Hartless, Jr.; and brothers, Jimmy, Bobby and Leon Hartless.
