Harry Paul Voelker

Harry Paul Voelker, a beloved resident of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Waverly, Ohio, on September 22, 1936, Harry lived a full and vibrant life, deeply cherished by his family and friends.

Harry was the devoted husband of Phyllis (Kearney) Voelker, with whom he shared 41 wonderful years of marriage. The couple wed on May 20, 1983, and together they built a loving family. Harry is survived by his children: Kim K. (Clay) Carroll, Lindy Jo White, Todd A. Wylie, Debbie Prendergast, and Sue A. Campbell; and son-in-law, Dave Stroud. He was also a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Harry's warmth and kindness touched the lives of his extended family, including cousins and countless friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Pearl Voelker, as well as his daughters, Vicki Stroud and Gale A. Galliway, and sons, Joe Wylie and Gregory Wylie. He is also reunited with many siblings who passed before him.

Throughout his life, Harry found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid golfer, boater, and fisherman, and he took great pride in his vegetable garden. Above all, Harry cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Harry worked as a delivery person for a sign company for many years, a role that allowed him to connect with many people throughout his career. His friendly demeanor and dedication to his work were admired by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service in Kirkersville, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 am, where Harry will be laid to rest.
