Harry L. Wolfe

Harry L. Wolfe, age 82, of Newark, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born October 24, 1941 in Newark, Ohio.

Harry retired from ODOT where he had been a Supervisor. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Newark. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Max.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathy (Mark) Busby of St. Louisville and Michelle (Khris) Long of Newark; son, Brian Camp of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; grandchildren, Brandin, Elysabeth, Garrett, Lara, Jazmyn, Parker, Cheyenne, Khristopher, Jacob, Cameron, Calandra, and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Melody, Lilith, Freyah, and Alphina.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Marie (Miner) Wolfe on January 8, 2000; his mother, Bernice Louise (Wolfe) Kline; infant son, William “Billy” Wolfe; and a sister, Sandra Jean Kline.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Licking County Humane Society or the Licking County Dog Shelter.

Private interment will take place in Wilson Cemetery.
