Harvey Lewis Williams, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date for Harvey Lewis Williams, Jr., age 81, of Heath. Harvey was born in Newark, Ohio on August 15, 1936 to the late Harvey Sr. and Imo (Priest) Williams. He passed away on December 5, 2017 at the Newark Care and Rehabilitation. Harvey proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he worked as a sales manager for Colony Paint. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and was an avid gun collector. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Wanda (Meharry) Williams, whom he married November 8, 1952; son, Harvey Daniel (Louise) Williams; daughter, Debra (Michael) Hondel; grandchildren, David Adam Williams and Robert Alan Hondel; great granddaughter, Alexis Jade Powelson; two nieces and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, David LaMoine Williams; one sister; three half-brothers; and two half-sisters.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Harvey and the Williams family.
