Harvey William Hall

A funeral service celebrating the life of Harvey William Hall, age 51, of Johnstown, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street, with Pastor Dan McLaughlin officiating. Friends may call from 9:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial with full Military honors will take place in Kirkersville Cemetery. Harvey was born September 12, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 in Racine, Ohio. Harvey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Combat Engineer from 1983-86. Harvey was employed with Zeine Construction Company from 1986-1991 and was a mechanical engineer with Constellium Aluminum Plant in Ravenswood, WV from 1996-2012. Harvey was a traveler of all fifty states and Canada and was a member of the Ohio University Battery Powered Racing Team. He is survived by his father, Lester Hall of Silsbee, Texas; mother, Sally (Gill) Hall of Johnstown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Pauline Hall of Waianae, Hawaii, Lance and Sara Hall of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Bryan and Stacey Hall of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nieces and nephew, Ashlyn Hall, Victoria Hall and Griffin Hall. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Leona Hall and Edward and Lucy Gill. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or The National Park Foundation.
