Hazel A. Burns

Hazel A. Burns, 89, of Heath, passed away on November 12, 2024 at Flint Ridge Nursing Home in Newark. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 14, 1935 to the late James and Anna (Seely) Estep. Hazel was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed crafting, knitting and loved spending time with her family, friends, dogs and birds. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela S. Sjoquist, Wanda L. (John) Haynes and Alice M. (Donald) Luke; brother, Leroy Croxton; niece, Virginia Endicott; nephew, Jason Croxton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burns; sisters, Dorothy and Kathy; and brother, James. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Hazel to the Licking County Aging Partners, 1058 E. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.
