Heather Nicole Levi Ayers-Cardenas

A memorial service celebrating the life of Heather Nicole Levi Ayers-Cardenas, age 27, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., one hour prior to the memorial service on Tuesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Heather was born in Newark on June 24, 1989 to Roger Ayers and Rosemary (Steve Deyo) Andrews-Gallagher. She passed away on March 8, 2017. Heather was a devoted homemaker. She was always full of life and was always on the go living life to the fullest. She loved helping and giving to others before taking for herself. She often referred to herself as Her Brothers Keeper and had gotten that tattooed two days before her death. She was a loving wife and friend to all that knew her. Heather enjoyed family life, tattoos, spending time with friends and being her very own free spirit. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Abelino Martinez-Cardenas; two loving daughters, Anastasia Augustina Cardenas and Andrea Cardenas; brothers, Harley David Matthew Ayers, Jason Andrews and Mark (Rhonda Hershman) Wittmer; sister, Kelsee Nichole (Froylan Navarro) Andrews; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Matson Ayers, and step-father, Keith Belushi Andrews. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Heather to the family, in c/o Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
