Helen Louise Braden

Helen Louise Braden, age 71, of Newark, passed away on February 21, 2019 at her home. Helen was born November 10, 1947 in Newark, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Margaret (Nethers) Thompson. She was employed in housekeeping at the Heath Nursing Care Center, Longaberger Hotel, Flint Ridge Nursing Home and Kendal at Granville. Helen loved Elvis, and enjoyed watching TV.

She is survived by a daughter, Judith A. “Judy” Sifford of Ashland; grandchildren, Tiffany Arter of Newark and Justin Arter of Bexley; sister, Barb (Bob) Romine of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, on September 4, 2005; and by a sister, Donna “Duck” Steele; and a brother, William Thompson.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date at Rocky Fork Cemetery.
