Helen E. Perry

A funeral service celebrating the life of Helen E. Perry, age 61, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Newark Free Will Baptist Church, 37 N. Westmoor Ave., Newark, with Pastor Matt Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Helen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 4, 1955 to the late Julius and Stella (Kouzelos) Tokay. She passed away on July 20, 2017 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. Helen was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of Newark Free Will Baptist. She enjoyed crafting, fishing, interior decorating and gardening, but most important in her life was spending time with her loving family. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Glenn A. Perry, Sr., whom she married August 26, 1979; children, Corrina (Mark) Belcher, Crystal (Greg) Sesler, Windy Perry and Glenn Perry, Jr.; grandchildren, Mark Belcher III, Canaan Belcher, Dylon Belcher, Mariah Belcher, August Sesler, Greg Sesler II; Makayla Pfost, Zeta Peck, and future granddaughter, Amelia; siblings, Eileen Burns, Martin (Pamela) Tokay, Daniel Tokay, Steven Tokay, Esther Tokay, David Tokay and Barbara Quinones; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
