Helen Mohler, 91, of Thornville, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. She was born onMarch 13, 1921 in Roseville,Ohio daughter of the late Chester and Leah (Guinsler) Eveland. Helen was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church, Glenford. She is survived by her loving family: children, Ronald (Kay) Mohler of Newark, Phillip (Cyndi) Mohler of Blacklick, Steve (Mary) Mohler of Thornville, Chet (Patty) Mohler of Gahanna, Barbara Holbrook of Hebron, and Linda (Ron) Dittoe of Thornville; 14 grandchildren: Beverly, Steve, Diane, Mallory, Travis, Rick, Coleena, Chad, Brian, Jay, Alyssa, Rusty, Nick, and Austin; 18 great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jonathon, Kenny, Nikki, Robert, Rylee, Logan, Lyndsi, Kyle, Sammie, Hayden, Kaylee, Elijah, Lilah, Benjamin, Mylora, Daniel, and Brandon; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meredith Mohler, December, 1990; grandson, Scott Mohler; great-grandson, Camron Mohler; 3 brothers, Roy, Paul, and Dennis Eveland; and 2 sisters, Agnes Tracy and Ruth Eveland. A funeral service, celebrating Helens life, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Thornville home of Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service,56 South Main Street, with Pastor Beth Bateson officiating.
